Arnika (in latin: Arnica montana L.) Thick roots where the Arnica can hibernate. In spring the arnica buds a rosetta of egg-shaped leaves, that lie flat on the ground. A leavy, fluffy-haired stalk with mostly one, rarely two glowing egg-yellow blossoms. The Arnica grows on rich-in-humus or sandy and un-dunged earth up to 2.000 m.
